Felicity Doll PC 1991 Meet, Night Outfits, Carrier Trunk Case, Accessories I

This wonderful vintage American Girl Felicity doll is from approx. She is an early Pleasant Company doll. She comes in her original Meet Outfit (The Rose Garden Gown), the Night shift Outfit, First Meet. A pink metal carrying case, a hairbrush and two original pamphlets. This is a doll that has been played with gently and loved, then stored away carefully.

The owner has a picture from Christmas 1992 showing her receiving some of Felicity's furniture, and knows she received the doll before then. 1991 was the first year that Felicity was released. Other things that support the age of this doll include the prominent stitching on the body, the bright red hair, shade of green eye color, soft reddish eyelashes.

Her shift and meet dress both have the Pleasant Company Made in Germany 1986 tags. Her cap has a later date, and came from a different outfit.

The doll is in very good condition, hair eyes, and facial features are very good, and the doll is clean. There is one very small smudge on her forehead. The accessories are as follows.

Meet Outfit (Retired)- Rose Garden Gown, shift, "woolen" leggings, black shoes. Condition: one shoe has sole re-glued on, the leggings do not come above the knees. Night Outfit (Retired) - Night shift, night cap, mules.

First Meet Accessories (Retired) - Coral necklace, round eared cap with burgundy ribbon, garters, drawstring purse with handkerchief and colonial bit. Hair care for your doll pamphlet. Pink metal carrying case - Fair condition. There are some dents to the outside, and wear to the metal hinges and joints. The inside has some stains, but both cardboard drawers work, the wooden clothes rod is crooked (this is original).

This case is designed for an 18 doll, but is not marked as Pleasant Company or American Girl. I will be pleased to answer questions, and provide additional pictures.
