Vintage Rare 1958 Barbie Midge American Girl Doll, In The Swim Outfit GC
For sale rare 1958 Barbie Midge American Girl doll with bendable legs. Midge is in VGC, her legs bend and clip and display nicely. No neck splits, missing hair plugs or nose nips. She comes with her original head band and it has a slight stain, hidden under a full set of hair, she has earrings that match her outfit, not sure if they are vintage or not.
She has a slight color dot on her lips, two small marks on arm, face and arms seem a little darker than her torso, has original polish on fingers only. Doll comes dressed in authentic, original Barbie orange ensemble In The Swim, which is complete. One of her cork shoes band has slipped out, but I placed back into side opening of shoe. The hat has edges that are slightly unwoven, this sometimes happens with these hats, the orange bathing suits hems are pronounced, and there are two small marks on bathing suits underarm openings from stand.
This set came from a private collection and has seen light play. This hard to find authentic set is a must have for the passionate collector.
