1991 Pre Mattel Molly Pleasant Co American Girl Doll Orig. Braids Meet Outfit

Original unrestored pre-Mattel Molly - looks to be 1991 - Pleasant Company stamped on the back of her neck, looks like she was rarely played with over the years. She has ORIGINAL BRAIDS, very squeezable vinyl, beautiful soft eyelashes (all intact), and is clean with no odors. Her hair is still silky soft, and she has VERY long bangs.

She can hold a pose and eyes function as they should. Sounds too good to be true? Unfortunately, she has silver eye in her right eye... (The camera flash makes it look worse than it really is, in my opinion).

Molly is wearing her meet outfit - skirt is tagged "Made in West Germany for Pleasant Company 1986" no holes! - plus her argyle sweater (no noticeable pulls or fraying), bloomers (elastic waist is all stretched out), white socks (discolored from age), white dickie collar, eyeglasses, eyeglass case (tagged "Made in West Germany 1986") and black Mary Jane shoes. Her wrist tag states "Dolls made in Germany" and her "Meet Molly" hardcover book looks to be unread (but the dust jacket has marks). Truly a beautiful doll, if you can work with that eye issue!
