2000 American Girl of Today Doll in Urban Outfit Pleasant Company Beautiful
This is a 2000 Pleasant Company 18 American Girl of Today Doll dressed in her Urban Outfit. The only issue I could find with this lass is that one of her original hair elastics has dried up and no longer holds her curled pig tail. Since taking the pictures, I have added an elastic to that pigtail to ensure its safe arrival in the box. Her multi-tonal blonde hair is beautiful with two little curls at each side of her forehead with the sides of her hair in a roll going into the very curled pig tails. She stands solidly on her own, all her joints are tight, and her arms pose.
Her lips have nice color, her green eyes sparkle and there is slight blush to the cheeks (there is a very tiny "shine" mark to the apple of her left cheek). Her clothing is mint and clean consisting of a hooded stripped shirt, a cotton ripstop cargo skirt, a quilted vest that reverses from red to navy, slouchy gray socks, blue suede Mary Jane shoes, and white cotton underwear. The suede on her shoes is rubbing off when touched. I have seen that with every single pair of Urban outfit shoes that I have had- the suede dries out from age.
Her original American Girl Today book is still sealed within the original cello packaging. The original box is marked GT21E. Her original wrist hang tag as well as a Mini Grin pin card still hangs around her wrist.
