Curious and full of energy, Jess takes her first-ever trip outside the United States to explore ancient Maya ruins with her parents and discovers that even at age ten, she can make a difference.

She and her parents are spending five months at an archeological dig of ancient Maya ruins in the Central American country of Belize. It's Jess's first time out of the United States.

It's her first time being home-schooled. And it's her first trip without her older brother and sister to keep her company. But Jess is excited to explore a new place all on her own. She's ready for adventure and anxious to discover just who Jess is.

Your JessT doll is 18 inches tall, with dark brown almond-shaped eyes and loose braids. Jess can't wait to explore Belize with her parents! They come from different backgrounds-her dad's Irish American and her mom's Japanese American-but they both love archeology. Jess arrives wearing a bright, breezy travel outfit: an embroidered halter top, tie-dye-print skirt, underwear with a screen-printed butterfly, and braided.

Sandals are missing the bands that help hold them on. Jess's tropical mix-and-match outfit is just right for exploring the waters of Belize. Provide protection on the river, and her. Is just right for a quick dip near the sandbars with her friend, Sarita. Not sure if the sunglasses are original to the outfit and the long. Sleeve rash-guard has snags on the back from the velcro. Jess is in great used condition and very clean. Her hair is in good. Condition somewhat dry on the ends. As I was cleaning her I noticed that her finger tips, toes and tip of her nose are a little darkened.

Almost like a clothing dye type stain. I got some of it off and perhaps the rest will come off with some careful scrubbing. There is a dark ring around her wrist like dye from a hairband and her underwear has a stain on the side.

Added 9/29: I've been working on her finger tips, toes and nose and most of the stain has come off. The only one that is still noticeable is the ring around her wrist. Please always mist your dolls hair with water before you brush it being careful not to get water in her eyes. Her hair will stay new looking for a long time if properly cared for. IT'S NEVER TO EARLY TO START SHOPPING FOR THAT PERFECT CHRISTMAS OR BIRTHDAY GIFT. Please view all of the photos they are of the actual items you will receive. I carefully go over each doll as I'm cleaning her so I can look for flaws. I like sending your doll clean and ready to play with. I add clothing and a nightgown or pajama's because what you are purchasing is a gift.....

Ready for giving ; I do my best to fix/style your dolls hair, I'm just not very good at it. We are a non-smoking household and we have dogs. If the previous owners smoked I will do my best to detect any odors.
