American Girl Felicity doll in NIB Tea Lesson Outfit
I have the first year release outfits on a Pleasant Company Doll. This is a 1996 Felicity Doll. She has the small body tag with the registration code 2006 (Not the manufacturing date). Late 1995 and 1996 was the only time Pleasant Company put body tags on the doll.
When Mattel took over in the 2000s all dolls got body tags. The Felicity doll went through several changes from her release in 1991. The 1996 dolls got a new darker wig and the eyes were a different green. They had painted rather than stained eyebrows.
Her limbs are tight and she holds a poise. She is wearing the 2005 first year release Tea Lesson Dress.
