Extremely Rare Vintage Exclusive European Market Gala Abend #1677 Barbie Outfit

ORIGINAL 1965 BARBIE GALA ABEND #1677 BARBIE OUTFIT. Also Included is a Long-Haired American Girl Barbie Doll. It is from the 1600 Series; #1677.

I've taken some pictures with the flash and some without so you can see the brocade pattern better. This outfit is complete except for the cardboard invitation, which is more rare than the Roman Holiday compact. The outfit is very nice; the coat has some slight discoloration at the top, where it opens at the neck; but you can hide it with the fur from the collar. The brocade is very nice; the dress and coat could use some steaming to make the fabric hang better; it has some creases.

Her legs are slightly splayed and she has a few pricks, but her feet are not all chewed up like most. She has a small flaw at her chest that is covered by the outfit.

She is not missing any fingers and has no green ear nor neck splits. The outfit looks very good on her.

This outfit is the ultimate in Barbie collecting. Please check my store for other rare Barbie items.

I also have the rarest item of them all -- the Barbie Susy Goose Regal bed; but that is not listed for sale. I just don't know if I can let that go, there are only a few in existence.
