Kirsten's Summer Story Fishing Set is almost impossible to find, especially in this condition. Her early version striped dress is tagged Pleasant Company 1991, and has two Velcro sections on the back. The straw hat looks like it was rarely, if ever, played with. The berries and ribbon are all intact - no crackling. Kirsten is wearing her wooden bird whistle which goes around her neck. The red lace up boots with brown laces are also in excellent condition. The fishing pole comes in two sections, complete with bobber and hook. This set comes with the bait basket complete with drawstring checkered fabric pouch (tagged Pleasant Company 1994), as well as the trout basket with swivel lid. Also included are three rubbery trout, each with a ring attached for the hook of the pole to "catch" the fish. In addition, there are three rubbery crickets (looks like there may be some antennas missing) and one green frog. There is a message from Pleasant Company to store these rubbery items in the plastic bag. The booklet, "Kirsten's Summer Story" has a few crinkles and marks on the back.
