Pleasant Co American Girl Samantha Doll Pre Mattel with Accessories & Outfits
American Girl Samantha doll bundled with outfits and accessories. This is my original doll as a child and is over 20 years old.
Everything was stored in a box in a basement for years before I transferred it all to a plastic storage bin. Because of this items are NOT in pristine condition and there has been some yellowing on some of the lighter clothes. I have done my best to notate everything carefully. In addition to that, some of the outfits are actually handmade by my stepmother from a kit of patterns for Samantha that was released at one point. I have listed out everything included below and notated anything that I was able to notice. I got her cleaned at the American Girl store awhile back and they also brushed out her hair and styled it simply. She has the Pleasant Company mark on the back of her neck. Eyes and body in good condition. Original dress that Samantha came in, shown on doll. Two small holes on the front from where I would pin her locket on her. Dress was washed gently but still has some discoloration/staining and is definitely the worst of the bunch. Canberry party dress (her Christmas/holiday dress). Plaid cape from her winter outfit. There are two of these included. Nightgown (this is handmade and has some slight spots of staining that show even after a gentle washing). "Lacy whites"/undergarments (top and bottom, this is handmade and was gently washed). Lacy pinafore dress (this is handmade and the pinafore was gently washed). Comes with dress, stockings, shoes and bow.White tights, have been gently washed. Winter hat from winter outfit. Two summer hats for the summer outfit (slight staining on these, both have been gently washed).
Velvety hat from Samantha's original meet outfit. Black and black boots from the summer outfit. There is some discoloration on the inside of the shoes from age and one of the pink ribbons is untied. White lacy socks, have been gently washed. There is some light discoloration on the socks.
The nutcracker is missing and most importantly her hair is gone. Report book from the school accessories set. There is some writing in here although I did my best to erase the writing that was done in pencil. Pen was used too however. Heart locket with the pictures of Samantha's parents pasted into it.
