PLEASANT COMPANY American Girl Doll Kit Kittredge + Meet Outfit 1st Release 2000
This is a first year release American Girl Kit Kittredge 18 doll by Pleasant Company in excellent vintage condition. Her internal shoulder tag dates her as made in July 2000. I can find no flaws with the doll other than her neck string is shorter than normal & may have been replaced or cut slightly.
She has been completely restrung with new elastic & metal clamps. Kit is a historical Pleasant Company doll in excellent condition. Her arms and legs are tight. She stands easily and holds a pose with her arms perfectly. Her hair is original, full & shiny, and uncut.
Her body & limbs are clean. Her eyes open & close properly. Her cloth body shows very slight if any aging.Her face color is wonderful with very minimal fading. She is free of any odors. Meet Outfit- barrette, bloomers, knit cardigan with finished button holes, knit shell with metal snaps, pleated floral skirt, bloomers, 2 canvas shoes with real buckles. The bloomers have a spot on the front & back.
The shoes have minimal to no edge wear and have slightly yellowed. Box & top: The box is complete & in good condition with a tear to the box top and corners of the top, with rub wear and lifting to the edges & top from storage.
Book: The book is complete with no markings. It has wear to the edges, especially the bottom corner. Please see photos for full description. Kit is from a pet & smoke free home, and her previous home was always smoke and pet free. Please message us prior to paying and we will send a combined invoice.
