Samantha doll dressed in her classic meet outfit, and the following (all original Pleasant Company) clothing. Samantha's dress is checked taffeta in burgundy, brown, and ivory.

It features a dropped waist, pleated front, and burgundy satin sash. Velcros up the back and wrists. White cotton bloomer-style underpants with elastic around the legs to make them puffy.

Though the official descriptions call them'stockings,' these are full tights which are worn under her underpants. Technically she would have worn garters and stockings; this is demonstrated in her Lacy Whites. Hair bow & Shoes are NOT included, the were lost. Burgundy faux-velvet hat with rose, dove grey, and gold colored ribbons tied into bows and allowed to dangle in the back. Samantha is generally not shown wearing the hat in illustrations and is instead carrying it in her hand; this was also true for many of the catalogs.

Older hats have a rose ribbon also around the band. Pink ribbon trimming around the neckline. One of the pearl buttons on the garters is missing, one button has a piece broken off.

Black grosgrain ribbon brim and knot. Black and white high button shoes. Four functional white buttons on side. Samantha's Pinafore Dress - Also Known As Samantha's Birthday Dress. Pink and white striped taffeta dress. Short puffed sleeves trimmed with white lace. This is only the dress, Pinafore is not included. One wear spot, and one small spot on dress (See Photo). Pink and cream gingham plaid garment bag. Maroon crepe ribbon bow attached at top with clear button (buttoned into top button hole).

Maroon ribbon trim on front opening and bottom edge; white thread picot lace on front opening. Three maroon buttons down front. Left side has Pleasant Company/American Girls Collection embroidered patch. Opening at top for hanger. He garment bag has a tiny spot on the front.
